Healthy Best You does what it says on the tin - but in your own way.
The internet and media abound with diets, plans, systems, processes, and action plans to help you lose weight and get fitter. But making these changes can be very hard for some people.
In setting up Healthy Best You our focus is on improving our lives whatever that looks for us. We might not want to be in a skinny 2-piece outfit posing in the gym, nor might we want to take on an epic 'bucket list' challenge.
I wanted to create a space that welcomed women who are nervous about movement or improving their lives. Not just through classes or sessions, but as a social support system allowing you to get healthy in your own way.
It's about helping you change where you are to where you want to be - and you shape how that looks.

Hello! I am Cath Hopkinson and I am the creator of Health Best You, www.healthybestyou.co.uk which is my Pilates business, where I have a studio full of Joseph Pilates equipment and run 121 and small group classes.
More about Cath Hopkinson, Healthy Best You - my healthy best.
I have a chronic back and nerve condition, which leaves my legs a bit wobbly with a 'headache' feel in both legs. It is something that I have had for a long time (probably from childhood), and the disc is pushing on a nerve as it leaves the spine (called a nerve root). It often means I can walk with a limp, and even walk like I am drunk, but without having the alcohol. The medication I take is quite effective and is a recent management tool. Of course, I did my Pilates for over 20 years but it all got too much.
When I visited the consultant and he asked my occupation, and I told him I was a Pilates teacher, he said "Pilates is very good for back trouble", "Yes, that's why I'm here now, not 20 years ago". Pilates has helped me manage pain, mobility, and movement for over 20 years.
There is always something you can do.
Don't let obstacles stop you from getting healthy in your own way.
There may be obstacles in your way: for example, medications can give you an increased appetite which means you never feel full or are reaching for snacks throughout the day.
Or do you hear the guidance that you should be doing 150 minutes of exercise per week? If walking to the local shop is a problem, how do you get many more minutes in?
These can make improving your health seem like an uphill battle.
But it doesn't have to be.
