Did you used to run around fields, paddle in pools and generally get lost in nature..?

Love Her Wild was the concept of Bex Band who had a thought in 2017 and began to put her plan into action (you can read how she did it in her new book; Gather). Bex heads up a remarkable team of women who want to get out more and do things for themselves. There is no judgement in the groups, you come as you are, and have fun and excitement doing it.
I was introduced to Love Her Wild in September 2019 when I had a conversation with one of the leaders, Fiona. She introduced herself and what she did in her spare time. She had just arrived back home from a weekend away: camping, learning new outdoor skills and just having a brilliant time with other women.
I was intrigued as it took me back to my days playing out with my brother (and his friends - always a tom-boy), and I wanted to know more.
Then COVID struck... let's skip those years... I met Fiona again when she invited me to teach at one of the weekend events - Love Her Wild North, based in Clitheroe. I definitely said YES, and thoroughly enjoyed all the activities, and the rest is history!
I have enjoyed many adventures with LHW:
Love Her Wild Weekend North - twice!
Being selected as one of the first graduates of the Outdoor Academy
Many walks - low level, high level, short and long (and in all weathers!)
Via Ferrata Extreme - in Honister Lake District (that was scary!)
Becoming a Wild Volunteer where I can organise walks and activities so everyone can join in.
I would love for you to join the Lancashire and the UK group - the Facebook links are below:
Lancashire: https://www.facebook.com/groups/192165488052670
We have our first outing with me taking the group on a 'Slow & Steady' walk along the prom in Lytham St Annes. To find out more head over to the Lancashire group where all the details are listed (we need to know numbers and the Facebook group is the best way of knowing who's coming, and also a central place for information).
I do hope you can join us either in the group or at an actual event (most are free, but some had charge to them), it will be lovely to see you Love Her Wild!
Please join us and if you have any questions please let me know.
Cath. x
